The short version

Cricket Dynasty is a single-player cricket management game. It does not ask for your name, email address, or an account, and your saved games live on your device. The app does send anonymous usage data, crash reports and subscription status to the service providers listed below, and shows ads unless you subscribe to Pro.

You can turn off usage analytics in Settings at any time, change your advertising choices where the law requires it, and ask us to delete the data we hold.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Lazy Lion Studios PTE. LIMITED (“Lazy Lion Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Cricket Dynasty iOS application. It covers information handled by the app and by the service providers used to operate analytics, crash reporting, subscriptions, advertising and Game Center.

This policy does not cover the privacy practices of the Apple App Store itself. Apple processes App Store downloads, payments, and related account activity under Apple’s own policies.

This page itself is part of the Lazy Lion Studios website, which is hosted by Vercel and loads Vercel Web Analytics. That script records a page view — the page path, the referring page, browser, operating system and device type, and a country or region inferred from your IP address — under a hashed, cookie-free visitor value that resets every day. It is handled by Vercel under Vercel’s privacy policy. It is separate from the app: nothing on this page talks to the Cricket Dynasty app or to any of the providers below.

2. What we collect and why

The following table summarizes information that may leave your device. Collection varies by whether you have Pro, your region, and your privacy choices.

Data Examples Why Where it goes
Usage analytics Screens opened, matches played or simulated, features used, session length, device model, OS version, app version, country derived from IP To understand how the game is played and improve it PostHog, Firebase Analytics
Crash reports Stack traces, device model, OS version, app state at the time of a crash To find and fix bugs Firebase Crashlytics
Purchase and subscription status Whether Pro is active, trial state, renewal and expiry dates, App Store transaction identifiers. Never card details To unlock Pro features and restore purchases on your devices RevenueCat, Apple
Advertising identifiers and ad interactions The device advertising identifier (only with your permission), ad impressions and clicks, coarse location from IP To show ads and measure them Google AdMob
Game Center Your Game Center player identity, achievements and leaderboard scores Only if you turn Game Center on in Settings Apple
Anonymous identifiers A random analytics identifier created on first launch; a random RevenueCat customer identifier To keep the above records consistent across sessions and to restore purchases PostHog, RevenueCat

3. Data kept on your device

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or health data. Saved games, lineups, finances and everything else about your career are stored on your device and are not uploaded.

Anything stored on your device stays until you delete the save inside the game or remove the app, subject to the normal behavior of your device backups and Apple services.

4. Usage analytics

What is sent

Cricket Dynasty sends anonymous usage events to PostHog and Firebase Analytics so we can see which parts of the game are played and which are not: screens opened, matches played or simulated, features used, session length, plus the device model, OS version, app version and a country derived from your IP address.

The random identifier, and how it links to your subscription

On first launch the app creates a random analytics identifier. It gives that same identifier to PostHog and to RevenueCat, so we can see, in one place, how players who subscribe use the game compared with players who do not. RevenueCat also forwards subscription events such as trial start, purchase, renewal and cancellation to PostHog under that identifier.

This identifier is random. It is not your Apple ID, email address, name or device serial number, and we do not combine it with any of those. If you delete the app, a fresh identifier is created on the next install.

Turning it off

Settings › Privacy › Share usage analytics. The switch is on by default. Turning it off stops the app from sending usage events to PostHog and Firebase Analytics from that moment. It does not delete data already sent, and crash reports continue so we can keep the game stable. Subscription events forwarded by RevenueCat are not affected by this switch; see Deleting your data to have them removed.

The events are held and processed by PostHog Inc. under PostHog’s privacy policy and by Google under Firebase Privacy and Security.

5. Crash reports

If the game crashes, Firebase Crashlytics receives a stack trace, the device model, OS version, app version and the app’s state at the time. Crash reports carry no saved-game content and no personal details. They are not affected by the usage analytics switch, because they are how we find and fix the bugs that make the game unstable.

6. Subscriptions

Cricket Dynasty uses RevenueCat to recognize Pro subscriptions, validate entitlements, and support Restore Purchases. RevenueCat receives a random customer identifier, App Store transaction identifiers, purchase history, trial state, and renewal and expiry dates.

Apple processes payment information. Neither Cricket Dynasty nor RevenueCat receives your payment-card details from the app. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID at Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.

Learn more in RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s App Store privacy information.

7. Advertising

Players without Pro see advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. Cricket Dynasty Pro removes ads. AdMob may process your IP address and infer a broad geographic area, as well as process device or advertising identifiers, ads you have seen and tapped, and diagnostics for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention and service operation.

Advertising choices

Where the law requires it (for example the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the game asks for your advertising consent on first launch through Google’s consent form (the User Messaging Platform). The ads SDK is not started until that form reports that ad requests are allowed. You can change or withdraw that choice later in Settings › Privacy › Advertising choices. That row appears only in regions where it applies.

AdMob may work with ad technology partners to serve ads. In regions where consent applies, the consent form lists those partners and lets you choose.

Personalised ads and tracking

iOS asks whether Cricket Dynasty may use your device advertising identifier. If you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalised using that identifier. You can change this in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Cricket Dynasty does not request GPS coordinates or precise location for advertising. A broad area inferred from an IP address is considered “coarse location” under Apple’s privacy categories. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.

8. Game Center and notifications

Game Center is off by default. Turn it on or off in Settings. When on, achievements and leaderboard scores are reported to Apple under your Game Center player identity, and handled under Apple’s own policies. When off, nothing is reported to Game Center.

Notifications. The game can remind you when energy has recharged. These are scheduled on your device and do not involve a server. You can allow or refuse them when iOS asks, and change that later in the iOS Settings app.

9. Service providers

We use these providers. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Provider Service Their policy
Apple App Store purchases, subscriptions, Game Center, and any crash and analytics sharing you have opted into with Apple apple.com/legal/privacy
Google (Firebase) Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google (AdMob) Ad serving and the consent form (User Messaging Platform) policies.google.com/privacy
PostHog Product analytics, hosted in the United States posthog.com/privacy
RevenueCat Subscription management and receipt validation revenuecat.com/privacy

10. Where the data is stored

Analytics data is stored on PostHog’s servers in the United States. Firebase and RevenueCat store data in the United States. Apple stores purchase records in accordance with its own policies. If you are outside the United States, your data is transferred there under the providers’ standard contractual terms. Privacy protections and legal requirements may differ from those in your location.

11. How long we keep it

  • Usage analytics in PostHog: retained by PostHog under the project’s retention settings and read by us only in aggregate.
  • Firebase Analytics: retained by Google under the retention period set for the project in Firebase.
  • Crash reports: 90 days in Crashlytics.
  • Subscription records: for as long as the subscription is active, and afterwards as long as needed to handle restores, refunds and accounting obligations.
  • Ad-serving logs: handled by Google under its retention rules.
  • On-device data: kept until you delete the save or remove the app.

12. Deleting your data and your rights

Email support@lazylionstudios.sg with the subject “Delete my data”. Because we do not hold your name, email address or an account, we cannot look you up by who you are, and the app does not currently display your analytics identifier. Tell us what you can — device model, iOS version, country, and roughly when you installed or last played — and we will delete the records we can reasonably match in PostHog and RevenueCat within 30 days and confirm by reply. Purchase records held by Apple are managed through your Apple ID.

Two things you can do yourself, without writing to us: turning off Share usage analytics stops any further usage events from that moment, and deleting the app discards the random identifier so that nothing sent afterwards can be joined to what was sent before.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Residents of the EEA and UK have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to opt out of “sharing” for cross-context advertising, which the advertising choices above cover. Singapore residents have rights under the Personal Data Protection Act. We do not sell personal data.

13. Children

Cricket Dynasty is rated 4+ on the App Store, but it is a management simulation and is not designed for or directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Security

Data is sent to the providers above over encrypted connections. Saved games on your device are protected by your device passcode and iOS data protection. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes here and update the effective date. Check this page for the current version of the policy.
