About Nudge

Nudge is a daily word puzzle. Each day deals one board where you slide letters between neighbouring tiles — one swap at a time, nothing else moves — to spell five clued words, one per row. The daily board is free to play, with a single sponsored banner. Nudge Plus is a one-time purchase that unlocks the full archive of every past board back to #1, unlimited hints, random practice boards, and offline play — and removes ads entirely.

Frequently asked

How do I restore Nudge Plus on a new device?

Nudge Plus lives with your Apple Account, not with one phone, so you can bring it to a new device without paying again. Sign in to the same Apple Account you bought it on, then open Settings → Restore purchases inside Nudge — or tap Restore purchases on the Nudge Plus screen. Apple confirms the purchase and Plus unlocks.

Why does free play need a connection?

On the free daily, Nudge checks for a working connection before it deals the board. Offline play is one of the things Nudge Plus adds — with Plus, boards deal with no connection needed. The check itself sends nothing about you and fetches nothing from us; it only confirms the device can reach the network.

How do daily reminders work?

Reminders are local notifications, scheduled on your device by iOS — there is no push service and nothing is sent from a server. They are off until you turn them on, and you can toggle them any time in Nudge’s Settings. Turn them off there and no reminders are scheduled.

Where does my progress live?

On your device. Nudge has no accounts and no server of its own, so your solved boards, streak, and preferences are stored locally in the app. They may be included in your own Apple device backups. Deleting the app removes this local data from the device.

How do I report a problem with a puzzle?

Email us at support@lazylionstudios.sg and include the board number — you will find it on the board — plus a short note on what looked wrong (a clue, an answer, a tile that would not settle). The board number lets us find the exact puzzle you saw.

How do I report an ad?

The free tier shows a single sponsored banner served by Google AdMob. If an ad looks broken, misleading, or inappropriate, you can flag it two ways: tap Report in the corner of the sponsored card, or open Settings → Ads → Report an ad in Nudge. Either one opens a pre-addressed email to support@lazylionstudios.sg; tell us what the ad showed and roughly when you saw it, and we will pass it to Google. Ads are non-personalized, and Nudge Plus removes them entirely.

Still stuck, or run into something not covered here? Email support@lazylionstudios.sg and we will help.

Privacy

Lazy Lion Studios collects nothing about you — no accounts, no analytics we run, no tracking by us. The one exception is the free tier’s sponsored banner, served by Google AdMob, which is the only third party that receives any data. Ads are non-personalized, and Nudge Plus removes them entirely. The full details, including how to consent to or withdraw from ad data, are in the Nudge Privacy Policy.
